5 Graphic Novels on my TBR

I love my comics but I really want to get into graphic novels so here are 5 on my TBR, the wonderful thing about the below list is that you’ve got a heck of a lot of the singles all in one place! Graphic novels and trades are like the netflix binges of the comic world.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

1. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina by  Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack
This has been on my radar for a while and I really wanted to read the series before the Netflix show was released but I just never got round to getting a copy but after watching the show I want to read them even more!

Sabrina Spellman
On the eve of her sixteenth birthday, the young sorceress Sabrina Spellman finds herself at a crossroads, having to choose between an unearthly destiny and her mortal boyfriend, Harvey.

Saga

2. Saga by Brian K. Vaughan  and Fiona Staples. Okay, I’ve started Saga and I’ve read volumes 1 and 2 but I just want the motivation to continue! It’s not that I’m not enjoying it (I really am) but I just need that push to sit down and commit!

Saga Comics 1
When two soldiers from opposite sides of a never-ending galactic war fall in love, they risk everything to bring a fragile new life into a dangerous old universe.

Paper Girls

3. Paper Girls by Brian K. Vaughan, Cliff Chiang and Matthew Wilson
By the same writer as Saga, Paper Girls has been on my TBR for a little while now, I first heard about this graphic novel through a youtuber I watch called Kate who’s Youtube is mainly about books but she also discusses graphic novels too, here’s her channel if you’re interested! You can also check out our thoughts on Paper Girls here

Paper Girls
In the early hours after Halloween of 1988, four 12-year-old newspaper delivery girls uncover the most important story of all time.

Lumberjanes

4. Lumberjanes by Noelle Stevenson, Grace Ellis, Faith Hicks, Brooke A. Allen and more
This is another graphic novel I heard about via Kate and it just looks so interesting! I love the art style and with “five rad, butt-kicking best pals” what more could you want
?

Lumberjanes
At Miss Qiunzilla Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s camp for hard-core lady-types, things are not what they seem.

The Prince and the Dressmaker

The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang
This graphic novel I heard about via friends online and like Lumberjanes it has an art style that I just love! This looks like such a heartwarming modern-day fairy tale that I’m desperate to read!

The-Prince-and-the-Dressmaker
Prince Sebastian is looking for a bride―or rather, his parents are looking for one for him. Sebastian is too busy hiding his secret life from everyone.
